Transportation
Since 1965, LORD has been working on power, signal and communications projects for major railroad and transit systems clients in the United States. In Puerto Rico, LORD has drawn from the skills and expertise of the LORD/MASS partnership in the mainland to work on San Juan's Tren Urbano, the Island's most ambitious mass transit initiative in recent history. Data & Communications
The telecommunications industry has evolved into a major electrical market. From transmission towers and complete station installations for broadcasting clients to closed-circuit TV and FM radio installations for commercial clients, LORD has been involved in it all.
High Voltage Power Systems
Lord's subsidiary, Continental Lord, Inc. performs all of Lord Electric Company's underground and overhead electric cable installations, including GIS substations in the 38 KV and 115 KV voltage ranges.
Waste Treatment Plants
Lord's 50 years of experience and our talented group of registered professional engineers will provide your company with the required planning and construction experience for any Waste Treatment Plant or Waste Water Treatment Plant.
Green Energy
Lord's experience in power generation plants and power distribution on a grid make Lord an excellent choice for designing, installing and servicing alternative energy projects. To better serve our clients, Lord has retained the services of engineer Frank N. Rivera Serrano certified by the Professional College of Engineers and Land Surveyors of Puerto Rico who is a certified expert on Photolvoltaics.
